My Role

As the Founder and Managing Director of the firm, I have been fortunate to combine my entrepreneurial spirit and a passion for creating a world-class client experience into a rewarding career and business. I am proud to have assembled a dedicated team of professionals whose work has a positive and direct impact on people’s lives. But beyond that, I especially connect with the idea of helping clients understand how proper financial planning can help them achieve their life goals and executing a plan to achieve those goals. I liken the job to that of an air traffic controller, strategically coordinating best practices and allocating resources to bring those under Avier’s guidance to their desired futures without a lot of turbulence along the way.

My Story

I live on the shores of Lake Sammamish with my wife Katherine and two boys, Cameron, and Graham. Enjoying quiet time on the lake, camping up in the mountains or traveling the world in pursuit of big fish—I never grow tired of spending time with my family and friends in nature’s living room. While I am more likely to brag about my sons’ many talents, I will gladly oblige with a story about my fiftieth birthday. The one that ends with a 200-lb. blue marlin on the end of a fly rod. Not a bad way for a guy to mark half a century.
