My Role

I love helping really nice people make great decisions with their money. It’s refreshing to wake up every day and bring clarity to the financial lives of those I work with – specifically by structuring savings strategies and leveraging corporate benefits to help folks live their best possible life.

As a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ Professional and a CFA Charterholder working at a fee-only fiduciary, I’m incredibly proud of the work we do. When I joined Avier in 2010, I knew I was where I belonged, and as a Managing Partner I’m excited to help lead the firm going forward.

My Story

I grew up in Ballard and have a deep connection to the Pacific Northwest. Each summer, I live out my George Steinbrenner dream by sponsoring a Ballard Little League baseball team – the Ballard Nordics.

My wife Anna and I love to travel. Whether it’s exploring her home country of Wales or heading somewhere new, we’re always on the lookout for hidden gems – we’d love to hear your favorite spots. To date, I’ve visited 41 countries and have no plans to slacken the pace!

Fun fact: In 2016, I was a cast member on Season 7 of Alt for Norge, one of Norway’s highest-rated reality TV shows.
